Interaction design and children
Interaction design and children
Interaction design and children concerns the scientific investigation of the interaction between children and information and communication technologies.

We believe that digital technology can provide significant support to learning experiences in informal and formal education, and may generate positive educational outcomes.

Our purpose is to design technology that matches teacher and pupil learning needs and wishes, in order to improve the way they teach and learn.

We aim to understand the effect of technology on children’s cognitive development. In our research we apply an approach inspired by a cooperative (Greenbaum, J. et al. 1991) and participatory (Schuler, D. et al. 1993) design framework, where the school stakeholders play a central role in the design process.
