CAS Digital Forensics for Blockchain Analysis, Penetration Testing and Incident Response

The course is aimed at professionals in the ICT sector, who dealt with the maintenance of computer security or having to manage emergencies following a computer crash, in which new technologies and the company data are involved.


The resilience and the evolution of cyber attacks push more and more companies to train their technicians to take measures on time in the event of an IT incidents. A new approach is needed to manage cyber attacks: conscious, complementary and useful in the company.
In this regard, the Digital Forensics Service of the Department of Innovative Technologies of SUPSI, offers a new course of continuing education to learn about the Penetration Testing techniques, the Incident Response activities and the Blockchain analysis in a Digital Forensics key.

Course objectives

The course allows to acquire new and advanced knowledge to:

  • learn the techniques of analysis and management of crypto currencies;
  • learn the techniques and approaches to perform Penetration Testing of critical infrastucture;
  • learn the techniques and the fundamental intervention activities for the management of an Incident Response to be used in the event of a cyber attack.


The course is aimed at ICT professionals sector such as IT technicians, network administrators, experts and IT consultants. The course requires knowledge of the paradigms of at least one programming language.


Study credits: 11 ECTS

Duration: 132 lessons-hours

Start of course: 11 September 2019

Cost: CHF 7'000.-

The maximum number of student is 15.
