Information Driven Profiling for Suspected Target in the Digital Society

Abstract The digital transformation of Swiss society presents huge growth potential. To make sure Switzerland shall establish itself as a secure digital society for data treatment of citizens and economy, should be able to operate in the virtual world as safely as in the real world and be able to exercise self-determination with regard to information. For this, the Swiss Federal Council strategy defines a set of action and goals. One of them is strictly related to Security and Trust. The aim of the project proposal to deliver a white paper starting from the Swiss national action and goals for improving the perspective of Secure and Trust: • considering an extensive range of security scenarios and contexts • increasing interdisciplinary approach and (internal and external) collaborations • exploiting favorable conditions of the potential of digital transformation • contributing to increase in the long-term the Switzerland’s strengths: excellence in education and research for securing critical infrastructures The result will allow several SUPSI’s researching groups working together for interdisciplinary projects and educational activities with strong impact in society.
