CEFR Mediation strategies: towards a socio-emotionalLy enhanced plurilingual language education


Abstract This project is based on the belief that making teachers and students aware of the relevant role of mediation and training them in mediation strategies, could help to develop their interpersonal and collaborative competencies to become active members of a more inclusive society. Our central objective is to document the potential shift in beliefs, perceptions and performance related to mediation skills through problem solving tasks that enhance plurilingual language education through social and emotional interaction.
