  • Description
  • The Master of Arts in Music Composition & Theory is a full time degree course. This course requires total dedication from the student in terms of time and emotional commitment, to achieve not only technical but also artistic maturity.
    The Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana only offers in-depth study (Major) in composition.

Objectives

This is a specialist course with a Major in Composition. Particular focus is placed on the creative dimension of composition, the integration of contemplation and skilled craftsmanship. The electronic music component of the course is conducted in collaboration with the IRMus of the Accademia Internazionale della Musica di Milano (Scuole Civiche).

Admission requirements
  • Bachelor of Arts in Music or an equivalent musical education;
  • pass an admission examination;

Career prospects
