Costs for continuing education courses are tax deductible if proven. For direct federal tax purposes, the maximum annual deductible amount is CHF 12’000, and for Ticino cantonal tax purposes CHF 10’000.

Persons interested in a Continuing Education course who do not have sufficient financial assets, if they meet the requirements, may apply for a study loan that must be repaid at the end of the course followed under certain conditions laid down in Article 18 of the Study Aid Act. For further information, please consult the website of the Study Aid Office (UAST).
