Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care
On 1 October 2014 the Department of Health Sciences (DSAN) and the Department of Business and Social Sciences (DSAS) will merge, becoming the Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care (DEASS).

Joining the three other SUPSI departments (Department of Innovative Technologies, Department of Education and Learning, Department for Environment, Construction and Design), this new department is typified by its innovative character, resulting from the collaboration between diverse and complementary areas of competence: economic-business, health and social care.

From 2007 the Akademie Physiotherapie Thim van der Laan in Landquart – which had trained physiotherapists for many years, awarding Swiss Red Cross qualifications and Bachelor/Master degrees governed by Dutch law – is affiliated with SUPSI, making it possible to conduct SUPSI Bachelor programmes in physiotherapy in the two centres: Manno and Chur.
