The project objective is to develop a solution for gathering data from home automation systems aimed to profile user habits in different contexts. In questo contesto si sta valutando un metodo innovativo di processamento dei film in grado di aumentare il grado di precisione della misurazione (grant di ricerca dalla SSRFM 2011 - società svizzera di radiobiologia e fisica medica). Il metodo si basa sull’aver caratterizzato i fattori che intervengono nel processo e quindi sulle correzioni che possono essere applicate per aumentare l’accuratezza della misura dosimetrica. Le pellicole vengono scansionate per permettere di eliminare il “rumore” introdotto dal mezzo di scansione (riscaldamento, distorsione geometrica,.. ) e dallo stesso mezzo di misura (spessore attivo del film, artefatti per polarizzazione, effetti ottici,..) nonché dall’accoppiamento dei due e dalla procedura e protocollo di misura (set-up di misura, accoppiamento scanner- film = holder, tempo di attesa per lo sviluppo, equazioni per la calibrazione, ….) .

SENSI

Con questo progetto si vuole realizzare e validare una piattaforma di sviluppo di reti di sensori wireless per la realizzazione finale di un laboratorio comune tra i due istituti USI e SUPSI. Tale piattaforma sarà inizialmente composta da circa 40 nodi sensore. Insieme ai sensori la piattaforma deve essere dotata dei tool di sviluppo necessari per la programmazione dei sensori e per la gestione della rete.
