CAS in university didactics
The CAS in university teaching, offered on an annual basis, is aimed at teachers who aspire to improve their skills in the field of university didactic training and innovation and to obtain the SUPSI didactic qualification.
The course lasts one year, from January to December, with a commitment of 250-300 hours, corresponding to 10 ECTS, divided into 120 contact hours and 130-180 hours of autonomous work. The contact hours are divided into 92 hours of classroom teaching activities, both classroom and distance learning; 8 hours of intervision activities between teachers; 16 hours of activities in teaching workshops and webinars offered by SEDIFO; and 4 hours of discussion with the reference coach/educational consultant.
The CAS certification in university didactics, which is granted with attendance of at least 80% of the scheduled classroom hours and with participation in at least two didactic workshops and four SEDIFO webinars of the course participant's choice, allows students to obtain the SUPSI didactic qualification recognised by swissuniversities.

Introductory course in university didactics
The Introductory Course in University Teaching is aimed at SUPSI teachers with a teaching load of less than 40% and is designed to introduce them to the fundamental themes of university teacher training and innovation.
The course is offered every six months and involves a commitment of 50-60 hours, corresponding to 2 ECTS, divided between classroom activities (28 lecture hours) and autonomous learning. Certification is possible with attendance of at least 80% of the scheduled classroom hours.
