Research and innovation
- 1 minute
How will we live in the future? Every two years, the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW) compiles the Technology Outlook, a document that brings together research findings on the most relevant technologies of the coming years, both nationally and internationally. From integrated photonic circuits to artificial photosynthesis, environmentally friendly food production, bioplastics, and much more. A total of 183 experts contributed to the new Technology Outlook, which describes 32 technologies with 22 showcases.
The publication will be presented in Italian-speaking Switzerland on Thursday 16 November from 6 to 9 p.m. during a public event in the Multipurpose Room at Campus East Lugano.
During the 'Technology Outlook Vernissage' experts from science and industry will present future technologies to the public and share their ideas.
The new edition of the Technology Outlook is available for preview on the technology-outlook.satw.ch.
