Research and innovation
17 January 2024
from 12.00 to 14.00
With the introduction of the subject 'Media and Informatics' (in Ticino, the transversal competence 'Technology and Media'), compulsory school teachers in Switzerland are called upon to integrate or reinforce their digital skills. This applies both to the didactic use of digital tools (e.g., video, audio) and to the integration of digital topics in the classroom (e.g., network security or online research).
DigiBasics, a project funded by swissuniversities and coordinated by the Zurich University of Teacher Education (PHZH), has networked six pedagogical high schools to develop self-training modules on digital skills for teachers in initial and continuing education.
During the meeting, the modules - available in German and Italian - and their didactic articulation, as well as the project's other initiatives will be presented. The experimental integration of some modules in the courses of the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education (DFA/ASP) will also be discussed.
The meeting is free of charge and open to the public upon registration by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.
It is also possible to follow the event remotely via Teams.
