The Breakpoint meeting presents the project The Lives of the Righteous and the educational transpositions carried out by both Diploma students from the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education and secondary school teachers active in the area.
The initial idea was to follow up on the creation of the Garden of the Righteous and to launch a project that would have significant educational and training spin-offs. Another element that from the outset oriented the project choices was to make the most of information and communication technologies in the didactic transposition of the physical space of the garden into a virtual place of knowledge construction.
The project Le vite di giusti (The Lives of Just) was born from a synergy between public and private bodies responsible for the promotion of culture and teacher training, specifically from a collaboration between the historical archives of the City of Lugano, the Federica Spitzer Foundation and the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education (DFA/ASP) of SUPSI, with the support of important partners such as the Institute of Italian Studies of the Università della Svizzera italiana (USI), Swiss Radio and Television (RSI) and LAC edu.
Sonia Castro Mallamaci, adjunct professor of history didactics at DFA/ASP
The meeting is free of charge and open to the public upon registration by writing to email@example.com.
It is also possible to follow the event remotely via Teams.
