On Tuesday, 13 June 2023, the Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) award ceremony was held as part of the university's continuing education program at SUPSI's Department of Construction Environment and Design.

Among the audience were many colleagues of female graduates to support and applaud them. And then many little guests, because the professionals also wanted to share their crowning achievement with their families.

The training undertaken at SUPSI enabled professionals to acquire targeted skills that they could put to use in their profession.

As Jean-Pierre Candeloro, Director of the Department of Environment Constructions and Design, emphasized, the ceremony is a special moment and celebrates the ability to innovate and renew to bring new skills, new outlooks, processes, and models into the professional practices of our region. The Director thanked everyone for their trust and expressed his best wishes.

In the presence, therefore, of a large audience, the various professional and trade associations, and SUPSI Alumni with its president Luca Bordonzotti, 107 certificates were awarded and distributed among 7 training courses: Specialist in Fire Protection; Real Estate Valuation; Building Management; Municipal Technicians: management of territorial services; Cooperation and Development; Construction and Civil Engineering Works Management; BIM (Building Information Modeling) & Project Management.
 
With the heads of the various training programs, some of the themes were touched upon that highlight the solidity of university Continuing Education and, at the same time, its innovative, flexible, and focused scope on the current needs of the world of work.

The SUPSI Campus in Mendrisio welcomed everyone, after the customary photos, to celebrate the moment and to toast the new challenges.
