A podcast to tell the story of teacher training

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of teacher education in Ticino, the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education has created a podcast dedicated to the testimonies of people who have in various ways taken part in its more or less recent history.

Gathered on a voluntary basis, the testimonies presented in the podcast do not aim at an exhaustive representation, but are life stories that give back episodes or fragments of personal experiences that developed in parallel with the major historical events.

Stories of male and female students, teachers, political or administrative leaders... the podcast provides a supplement to the digital exhibition opened in spring 2023, which can still be visited on the celebrations website.

The stories will be published in the coming months in the podcast section of the website, and will also be presented in a sound installation during the public event planned for 15 November 2023.
