How would you describe your studies at the Department of Innovative Technologies (DTI)?
Studying at the Department of Innovative Technologies (DTI) has been an exciting, educational and inclusive experience. The stimulating environment and opportunities provided fuelled my passion for technological innovation.
What is the benefit of DTI education?
The advantage of a DTI education lies in its ability to prepare students for real-world challenges. The programme offers a unique combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Not only is a solid conceptual basis acquired, but you also have the opportunity to apply this knowledge through research projects and internships in partner companies.
Is there a significant experience you would like to tell us about?
An outstanding moment in my journey at the DTI was my thesis project focusing on decentralised identity. Thanks to the invaluable support of the DTI and the Institute of Information Systems and Networking (ISIN), I was able to delve further into this area of research by attending the IIW conference held in California, where I shared my knowledge and learnt from some of the greatest experts in the field of decentralised identity.
What are you doing at the moment?
Currently, I am a research associate at the Institute of Information Systems and Networking (ISIN) and am involved in research and teaching in the field of innovative technologies. I actively collaborate on research projects in the Blockchain field that seek to address current and future challenges through technological innovation.
What are your goals for the future?
My future goals focus on the pursuit of excellence in both teaching and furthering my field of study. My intention is to inspire students and facilitate their learning, especially with regard to new technologies and contemporary challenges.
What would you recommend to a current or future student?
I would recommend fully embracing the opportunities offered by the DTI. Be curious, participate actively in classes, projects and activities. Be open to continuous learning and do not be afraid of challenges, because it is these challenges that will make you grow and develop your skills.
