Tell us about your mobility experience.
I chose to do this experience to put myself to the test and to allow me to grow, work on myself and confront a different context from the small town I come from. As for the training at the DFA/ASP, I found the combination of theory and practice ("The University of Experience") very useful, as it involved me in a concrete way in class management and training.
What were your fears ahead of your departure?
Initially, I was very scared of this experience as I had never spent long periods away from home and faced so much on my own. I have always had a bit of difficulty meeting new people because of my shy nature, but I definitely got more out of the box during this experience.
How do you rate this experience now?
I am happy to have embarked on this experience and find it very enriching in so many ways: training here at SUPSI has made me even more aware of how fundamental it is to work on oneself globally to become a teacher, not only to increase knowledge related to didactics but also to learn new life perspectives.
Would you recommend this experience to other students?
Certainly, to anyone who wants to get out there and broaden their perspective, as the mobility experience allowed me to widen my knowledge by opening up to intercultural and human exchange by interacting with people who have left a mark on me.
