Computational Identification of Pathways and Genes Involved in Lymphoid Tumors: From DNA Copy Number

Abstract The collected data of new lymphoma samples using microarray technology based on Affymetrix SNP6.0 delivers 1.8 million features per sample. In order to analyze all these data at the same time and together with clinical and survival data, high performance methods are to be used. In this project, we aim at creating a systematic procedure to obtain, store, and integrate expert?s knowledge with clinical and genomic data into a unified probabilistic framework where queries can be processed efficiently. All the information is used to learn an expert system based on Bayesian networks.
