SCCER3 - Electrical and Thermal Energy Storage - Phase II
Acronimo SCCER3-PII
Abstract The main goal of this project is to advance research for TES and AA-CAES plants by studying the effects of high temperature TES combined with novel aluminumsilicon Phase Change Materials (PCM) leading to combined sensible/latent energy storage. SUPSI will take care of: modeling and simulation of TES, assessment of new configurations and HTFs, design, rapid prototyping, and optimization of lattices and random structures for thermal energy storage at high temperatures.
