Computational Identification of Pathways and Genes Involved in Lymphoid Tumors Starting from DNA Cop
Acronimo CLS1
Abstract The goal is to identify genes involved in lymphoma pathogenesis and genomic regions associated with specific clinical features (such as response to therapy). The study is conducted by devising new clusters of lymphoid neoplasms characterized by recurrent patterns of genomic profiles which might underline common pathogenetic mechanisms. These clusters are then analyzed in terms of clinical characteristics and survival time of patients. A desired goal is to find genes that are relevant for the tumors and that are mapped in regions affected by copy number changes. To obtain such results, the genomic profiles are extracted from microarray analysis, which delivers raw copy number data.
