A trans-national research network on logistics
Acronimo LOGUSA
Abstract -The period of the Scientific Exchange “A trans-national research network on logistics” has been structured around two international conferences where I presented two papers; a series of work meetings with my host and collaborator Sandro Mezzadra; research activity at the library of the New School, the hosting institution; two workshops; a book presentation; a visit to the archive of the Newark port. Moreover, I also did two lessons as a guest within the course of Sandro Mezzadra at the New School. There were five main aims for this project: to extend the research network on logistics and to confront with a multiplicity of different perspective on that; to discuss and define a theoretical framework and a methodology, with my colleague Sandro Mezzadra and a series of other researchers involved in the study of logistics, one of the emerging research fields at the global level; to collect and organize materials and data; to use this project as a possibility to start sharing and spreading the studies on logistics within the Swiss academia; to empower the possibility, through this project, to speed up further collaborations.
