Abstract The Erasmus+ FutureBio project (2022-2024) aims to increase awareness about the plastic pollution issue and the need for biodegradable and compostable products in the context of higher education. The project objective is to develop a curriculum, create a guide book, and produce open education materials for university students. The project will apply innovative e-learning technologies and virtual reality tools to produce interactive Open Educational Resources (OERs).
