Dati anagrafici Daniele Forni nasce a Varese il 22 settembre 1980.

Formazione Daniele studia al Politecnico di Torino dall'anno accademico 1999/2000, laureandosi con lode nel luglio 2005 in ingegneria civile con la tesi "Modellazione meccanica di un tessuto gerarchico unidimensionale di ispirazione biolologica". In seguito svolge presso il Politecnico di Torino il dottorato di ricerca in Ingegneria delle Strutture con la tesi "Progressive collapse induced by fire and blast".

Esperienze professionali Da dicembre 2005 inizia a la sua esperienza lavorativa presso l'Istituto Materiali e Costruzioni della SUPSI. Collabora con il prof. Cadoni presso il Laboratorio interdipartimentale DynaMat. Attualmente è responsabile del corso di Approfondimenti strutturali I, è docente dei corsi di Murature, Teoria delle Strutture 1 e 2, Statica 1 e 2 nel Bachelor di Architettura e dei corsi di Statica 3 e 4, Teoria delle strutture 1 e 2 nel Bachelor di Ingegneria Civile.

Competenze Acquisizione e analisi dati, monitoraggio strutturale e delle vibrazioni, analisi e esecuzione prove ad alta velocità di deformazione, analisi FEM, programmazione con Matlab.
