SCCER Mobility - Digitalization


Abstract With the rapid growth of electric vehicles (EV), vehicle-to-grid (V2G) and vehicle-to-home (V2H) applications, such as peak shaving or the provision of ancillary services, are becoming increas-ingly important. However, one criterion for the acceptance and therefore for the wide deploy-ment of V2G technologies is that the batteries’ state of charge must be within operational bounds for the entire planning period (e.g., an EV should always be available when the owner resp. owning company needs it). The goal of this project is to investigate the interaction be-tween the grid and the electric vehicles, considering three different strategies to cover the mobility needs of a broad population.
