The statistical analysis can be used to describe the development of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland from its establishment until today. The many indicators which have been chosen aim to improve the transparency of institutional communications, and should be considered in both quantative and qualitative terms. The growth in student numbers and in the volume of research projects, the employment opportunities open to graduates, particularly in Ticino, the increase in students following part-time curricula – these are some of the true indicators of the ability of SUPSI to stand out in the ever more competitive field of university education, fulfilling the requirements of the increasingly diversified range of vocations studied at SUPSI.
