A helicopter view of medicines development

Developing a new medicine is a complex, risky and costly undertaking. In this one hour seminar Dr Julian Gray MD PhD, explains the steps involved and typical challenges on the way from the laboratory to the patient.
The seminar will take place Thursday 17th of December, at 11:30 in the IDSIA Meeting room at the 2nd floor of the building Galleria 1 in Manno.


Dr Gray is a British physician and specialist in pharmaceutical medicine a discipline in which he has worked internationally for nearly 30 years with large (eg Roche, Sandoz) and small companies. He is a longstanding member of the teaching faculty at the European Course in Pharmaceutical Medicine (ECPM) and has written an electronic text on the subject, Gray’s Medicines Development.
