Fabrizio Grandoni has been appointed Professor of Approximated Algorithms

The SUPSI Council has bestowed the title of Professor of Approximated Algorithms to Fabrizio Grandoni.
Fabrizio received his PhD in 2004 from the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He has been a visiting researcher at Berkeley, EPFL, and Bergen. in 2011 he was awarded an ERC Starting Grant from the European Commission and he joined IDSIA here in Manno.
His research focuses on the design and (mostly theoretical) analysis of algorithms and data structures to address a variety of problems.
