The University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI), is seeking to
recruit a new Director of the Institute of microbiology (IM), and member of the departmental Executive Board. This Director’s position at the Department of Environment Constructions and Design (DACD) is based in Mendrisio. The Institute of microbiology (48 employees) is the central reference in the field of microbiology south of the Alps. Aspects of public health, environmental microbiology, and biotechnology converge there into a unified view of microbiology that considers human, animal, and environmental health as one in line with the "One Health" vision.
