Intensive international programmes at tertiary level

Students and teachers of Swiss universities and of higher education can thus experience innovative, multidisciplinary, non-European educational offerings through short-term exchanges. The national agency Movetia provides advice and part of the financial support.

Fund carte blanche

This fund gives "carte blanche" on the design of the project: it should contribute to the improvement of the Swiss education system and the creation of a network of international contacts. It is important that the project is innovative in nature and that it can generate added value for Swiss actors through exchange, mobility and cooperation activities outside Europe.

General information and deadline
The application procedure is carried out in two stages. Applicants must submit a draft of the project by 31 January 2020. The decision on qualification will be taken by the beginning of March. If the decision is positive, they may submit a full application by 31 May 2020.
- Deadline for submission of the draft project: 31 January 2020.
- Deadline for second submission following positive decision: 31 May 2020
- Project start date: 1 September 2020
Movetia offers
- Financial support: Movetia covers a maximum annual amount of CHF 50,000 and 60% of the total costs. The project must not have received any Erasmus+ grants.
- Advice: Movetia supports and advises institutions from the conception of the project through to its completion.
Applications must be sent directly to the national agency Movetia, which also recommends that you submit the project to the international offices of your institution.
