SUPSI participates in the "Swiss-European Mobility Programme" (SEMP), which provides for the granting of scholarships to students registered in SUPSI who carry out a mobility with an institutional SUPSI partner.
Some departments also provide financial assistance to students for practical modules carried out abroad under the degree course. There is also the possibility of apply for support from the management of the department.
The Confederation also provides scholarships for more than 30 countries: interested students can consult the above link and contact the departmental coordinator.
Covid-19 Fund from EDUCA SWISS for students
In order to help students in difficulty, the Swiss Foundation for the Promotion and Financing of Education EDUCA SWISS has created the Covid-19 Fund, which enables interested parties to obtain loans quickly and easily at 0% interest rates.
More information about the Covid-19 Fund of EDUCA SWISS:
- Loans of up to CHF 5'000 are granted quickly and easily at 0% interest.
- Once the application is complete, the money is transferred within five working days. The repayment occur after your career starts or at any time before.
- The following documents with corresponding receipts are required for the application: income situation, justification, budget plan including the required amount, education details.
- The fund is provided by EDUCA SWISS and partners.
The students who are affected can contact directly by mail (mail@educaswiss.ch) with the keyword “Covid-19”. Loans above CHF 5'000 are also given priority under the keyword “Covid-19”. But you have to register for this via educaplan.ch. The process and the contract will be in German. However, we try to be available on the phone to students in English or French in case of questions.

USA Fulbright Foreign Student Program
The Fulbright Program is the flagship international educational exchange program sponsored by the U.S. Government, designed to increase mutual understanding between the people of the United States and the people of other countries.
The Fulbright Program in Switzerland offers students and scholars with Swiss citizenship (If you hold another citizenship you must contact the Fulbright Commission or U.S. Embassy Public Affairs Section in your citizenship country.) and English proficiency funding to pursue studies at the master’s or Ph.D. level, at any recognized institution of higher education in the United States, in almost any field of study. Depending on the program, grant lengths range from three months to one academic year. Successful applicants for the Fulbright Foreign Student Program receive a grant for one academic year of about $ 20,000.
