We inform you that due to the spread of Coronavirus in Switzerland, from 16 March 2020 and until further notice, the offices of the Institute for applied Sustainability to the built environment are closed. However, our employees are operational through teleworking.

In Italy officially opened the “In/Architecture 2020 Awards” which have been celebrating Italian architecture for almost 60 years. Among this year's special prizes, the “Award for solar architecture in prestigious contexts” is promoted by the European project “BIPV meets history” of which SUPSI is a partner. To the contest can participate designers (architects or engineers), construction companies or customers who have used photovoltaic technologies in prestigious historical and landscape contexts in Italy and Switzerland.

The 6th Task 59 "Renovating Historic Buildings Towards Zero Energy" meeting took place online with the participation of SUPSI.

On May 4 and 5, 2020 the Interreg Alpine Space ATLAS project partners and observers met online for the fourth project meeting, organised by SUPSI and Eurac. Due to Coronavirus restrictions, the meeting, scheduled to take place in Lugano-Canobbio, was held online.

The report of the Institute for Applied Sustainability to the Built environment of SUPSI concerning the methods for the evaluation and quantification of local renewable energy sources in the Alpine space, is now online.
