ATLAS
ISAAC - SUPSI will be involved until spring 2021 in the ATLAS Interreg Alpine Space Projec, as Swiss Partner among other EU institutions and municipalities fr m the Alpine Space macro region area to promote existing best practice for energy retrofit of historic buildings.

ATLAS (Advanced Tools for Low-carbon, high-value development of historic architecture in the Alpine Space) aims at (re-)discovering all traditional architecture (buildings and ensembles beyond the level of protection). These buildings are often located in neglected areas and provide low levels of energy efficiency and comfort.

The project aims at paving the way for sustainable development of historic structures. This will include capitalizing and optimizing existing best practice solutions for building refurbishment and regional development. Stakeholders of the whole value chain and decision-makers are included in a network to ensure sustainability from social, ecologi al and cultural points of view.

ATLAS has been financed by Interreg Alpine Space, one of the 15 transnational cooperation programmes covering the whole of the European Union (EU) in the framework of European Regional policy. The programme involves Switzerland, Slovenia, Liechtenstein, part of Germany, Italy and France.

Total budget of the project €1.847.136,89. Total ERDF funds €1.399.900,58.
