In order to promote the development and growth of the local economy, the competences of the various research areas support the innovation of companies also through contracts and direct mandates for technology transfer.

Examples of collaborations cover the following areas:

  •  Design, simulation and optimization of advanced production lines
  •  Configuration and management of dynamic value chains
  •  LCA analysis of production systems and networks
  •  Development of soft tools for factory management and maintenance

Moreover simulation, virtual and augmented reality instruments support research and service activities developed in the mentioned areas.
