Research
The Institute of Digital Technologies for Personalized Healthcare carries out applied research in the field of medical technologies and contributes, together with the other institutes of the Department of Innovative Technologies (DTI), to the mandates of research and knowledge transfer.
The Institute's research activities revolve around three scientific areas that are strongly interdependent:
Thanks to the synergy between them, the Institute has all the instruments for developing whole systems to support personalized diagnosis, therapy, and rehabilitation. Indeed, applying digital technology to the diagnosis and treatments processes paves the way to developing highly integrated management models and more active and participatory involvement of patients.
The Institute is active in various national and international networks and collaborates with public and private bodies.
