Computational Materials Science Laboratory
Nature offers many examples of materials possessing dynamic, active and functional properties that are unique and impossible for our traditional technological materials. The ability to design artificial materials with similar properties offers new routes toward next-generation materials for various technological applications. This requires the development of a new know-how down to the smallest scales, and investigation approaches at the nano- and molecular-scales.

The Computational Materials Science Laboratory is specialized in using computer models for the study and design of new types of advanced materials with controlled dynamic properties. We develop multiscale molecular models, use advanced simulation/analysis techniques and in silico experiments to understand how to engineer new types of advanced active materials.
