Continuing education
2rLab's continuing education programme is aimed at physiotherapists who wish to expand and perfect their knowledge in specific physiotherapy areas. The Laboratory intervenes by offering various contributions in internal and external seminars at SUPSI.

Dry needling and manual therapy in the treatment of myofascial trigger points

One of the main contributions offered by 2rLab in continuous education is the course "Dry needling and manual therapy in the treatment of myofascial trigger points".
The myofascial trigger point is a form of muscle pain characterized by hyperalgesia and related pain. Myofascial trigger point pain syndromes cause disabilities and limit the quality of life of patients.
Thanks to the seminar, physiotherapists have the opportunity to develop skills in pathophysiology, diagnosis, evaluation, clinical reasoning and myofascial treatment, based on evidence-based knowledge and through the use of innovative procedures and technologies.
The seminar focuses on the dry needling technique.
