Based on the notions of human anatomy and physiology learned in the first part of the module, students are able to understand how a measurement is performed in the biomedical field, what are the issues that limit the use of sensors in biomedical measurements, how to select sensors for specific applications in the biomedical field, as well as how to use biomedical instrumentation for the physiological and clinical evaluation of a patient.
