At the annual congress of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW), scheduled for Thursday 21 May at the USI-SUPSI EST Campus in Lugano-Viganello, there will be a discussion on how Vital Living, personalised medicine, digital health and social innovation can contribute to a healthy, active and self-determined life.
The welcoming remarks by SATW President Benoît Dubuis will be followed by those of Franco Gervasoni, Director General of SUPSI, and Monica Duca Widmer, Chair of the USI Board. Among the speakers at the various thematic sessions scheduled will be Laurie Corna, Full Professor of Ageing and Quality of Life at SUPSI’s Centre of Excellence for Ageing, who will take part in a round table discussion on the topic of Performance in Health Management.
This afternoon will see the induction of the sixteen newly elected SATW members, professionals who have achieved outstanding results in the fields of research, innovation and technology transfer: from quantum technologies and catalysis to sustainable energy systems, artificial intelligence and robotics.
