from July 10th to 12th, 2024
The SUPSI Institute of Information Systems and Networking (ISIN) and the ESG Center of Excellence organise the second edition of the CSR & ESG Meets Blockchain Summit, an international symposium aimed at initiating a dialogue on the topic of blockchain with professionals from academia, institutions and industry.
The event offers a valuable opportunity to better understand how blockchain technology can be a catalyst for change in corporate sectors, particularly in terms of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Environmental and Social Governance (ESG). This is an exciting prospect that could open up new frontiers in the world of corporate sustainability.
In addition, as part of the Summit, this year will also be organised for the first time the International Summer School 2024 on ESG & Blockchain. This high-level training event will be held in Lugano from 7 to 13 July 2024. Thanks to the collaboration between ISIN and the SUPSI Department of Business Economics, Health and Social Care (DEASS), eight selected first-year students of the the Master in Business Administration with a major in Innovation Management will have the unique opportunity to participate in this initiative.
The International Summer School, led by Marco Casanova, Director of the ESG Center of Excellence, will focus on "Purpose led Stakeholder Management" and will enable students to deepen their understanding of stakeholder management and develop practical skills to implement CSR and ESG strategies within organisations. A golden opportunity for students to expand their knowledge, build an international network and acquire key skills for their future career path.
