Education quality and development
Constantly updated curricula, a well-established quality monitoring and improvement system, investment in teacher training and coordinated and increasingly digitalised administrative processes guarantee our students a state-of-the-art and valuable educational experience.
Cutting-edge training courses
Our curricula adopt a skills-based approach, leading to the definition of a clear output profile, constantly updated thanks to the scientific evidence generated by our research and participation in the scientific community, and also thanks to direct and continuous comparison with professional partners.
Comprehensive quality monitoring system
We regularly assess through formalised procedures and tools the quality of our Undergraduate and Graduate Studies and verify the implementation of improvement measures resulting from the quality processes.
Our Quality Assurance System (QAS) includes five separate monitoring processes, which actively involve all the main stakeholders of Undergraduate and Graduate Studies (students, lecturers, employers, scientific experts, training partners, training managers). The indicators produced during the monitoring activities represent an important basis for training development and innovation.
Investment in educational innovation and the promotion of its effectiveness
We initiate projects for the development and coordination of didactic quality and innovation, both internally (e.g. project for the promotion of academic success, introduction of integrated didactics, project for the development of the academic staff, etc.) and either through collaborations with other universities and higher education and/or vocational training institutions (e.g. Universities as learning communities - in collaboration with USI and Lucerne University; Development of professional digital skills - in collaboration with HES-SO; DigiBasics - Digital skills for the digital environment - in cooperation with PH Zurich and other pedagogical high schools etc.).
We pay great attention to and invest every year in refresher, coaching and pedagogical-didactic training of all teaching staff
Increasingly digitised administrative support
Administrative procedures throughout the student life cycle, from admission to graduation, follow protocols structured according to current regulations.
Thanks to the Student Portal, our students have real-time access to information on their degree course (study plan, exams, assessments, guidelines, etc.), news and events from the university community, services offered by SUPSI and much more.
Thanks to the participation of the student community, the portal continues to evolve from year to year.
