The programme includes conferences, a round table with internationally renowned experts and a keynote lecture by Nobel Prize winner in Chemistry Prof. Aaron Ciechanover entitled ‘The hidden code of long life: the role of ubiquitin in health and longevity’. The event is organised by BrainCircle Lugano together with USI Euler Institute, Swiss Brain Health Foundation - SBHF, IRT Translational Research Institute (USI-EOC), SUPSI, and Sir John Eccles Foundation (FJE).
The aim of the event is to disseminate, in a rigorous but accessible way, the latest scientific knowledge to promote healthy longevity and prevention for brain health, integrating biology, technology and medicine. The afternoon will also feature a lecture entitled ‘Mens sana in Corpore sano. Concrete strategies for active longevity’ given by Marco Barbero, Full Professor of Musculoskeletal Rehabilitation and Head of Research for the Department of Business, Health and Social Sciences.
