Giovanni Cavallo

Giovanni Cavallo was born in Modugno, close to Bari (Italy) in 1967

Graduated in Geological Sciences at the University of Bari (Italy) in 1992; later specialised in Petrography and Mineralogy applied to cultural heritage and Qualified Geologist at the same University.
Qualification to use low power X-Ray devices (SUVA, Switzerland)

He strarts to work as private consultant geolgist for public and private Institutions in the field of historical materials analysis. In 2000 he joins CSG Palladio laboratory in Vicenza (Italy) and in 2001 SUPSI as external teacher. He is still working at SUPSI in the Institute of Materials and Constructions as teacher and researcher.
