A song is not simply a melody with words added to it, nor is it merely lyrics set to music. It is a distinct entity in which poetry and music merge into a harmonious whole. This reflection serves as the starting point for the concert that the Esperienze vocali choir will present to mark the 20th anniversary of Casa Vallemaggia, a facility managed by Pro Infirmis that hosts a variety of activities for the entire community.

The Esperienze vocali choir

Founded in 2011, the choir is composed of students, staff members of the DFA/ASP, and teachers from preschool and elementary schools. What sets it apart is that it changes its repertoire every year, adapting to the characteristics of the current vocal ensemble—which can range from an all-female choir to a mixed choir, and from a small to a large vocal group.
