In class with Manzi: teaching practices for teaching Italian

The Competence Centre for the Teaching and Learning of Italian as a Language of Schooling (DILS) of the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education, in collaboration with the GISCEL Ticino group, is organising an event to commemorate the ideas and teaching practices of teacher Alberto Manzi.

Dalila Bachis, an expert in language education and author of numerous studies, including the volume Le grammatiche scolastiche dell’italiano edite dal 1919 al 2018 (published by the Accademia della Crusca in 2019), will talk about Alberto Manzi and his innovative teaching ideas, offering many concrete examples of practices for teaching Italian that are also suitable for today's schools, for students of different ages.
