She was born in Faido on December 30, 1982.
From 2001 to 2005 she studied social psychology at the University of Lausanne. She then completed internships in various fields of psychology and in 2008 she obtained the Cantonal qualification to practice as a clinical psychologist. In March 2017, she obtained a PhD in psychology from the University of Lausanne.
In 2008, she started working as a researcher in education at the Ufficio studi e ricerche (USR) and collaborates with the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training on three research projects. In 2010, she followed the transfer of the USR, which had become the Centre for Innovation and Research in Educational Systems (CIRSE), to the DFA-SUPSI, where she is active in various research projects both as a member and project leader. In this Department, she is also engaged in the training of pre-service and in-service teachers and of researchers.
