The Festival, organised and promoted by the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education of SUPSI and by the Dipartimento dell’educazione, della cultura e dello sport, is dedicated to mathematics and its encounter with other disciplines: theatre, art, music, robotics, literature and much more, to bring children and adults closer to this discipline in a stimulating way.

This is precisely the aim of the day on Saturday 25 May, dedicated to the entire population and especially to families. Through 28 workshops and 6 shows, it will in fact be possible to explore and learn more about the world of mathematics, also grasping its playful, profound and even unexpected aspects.

The Matematicando festival proposals will wind their way through the streets of Locarno, mainly on the Piazza Grande, at the Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education of SUPSI and at the PalaCinema. 

The event will take place in all weathers. Participation is free of charge and does not require registration.
