Pearl is an AI companion designed to support women in exploring their sexual well-being through emotional and physiological tracking. Developed within the Multimodal User Experience Design in Products course at SUPSI, Pearl consists of both a physical object and a mobile app.
The app logs key metrics after sexual activity, while the physical device guides users in reflecting on their emotional states before, during, and after.
Rather than simply collecting data, Pearl translates information into personalized insights and educational guidance, encouraging women to better understand their bodies, emotions, and desires. By addressing the pleasure gap shaped by a historically male-centered view of sexuality, Pearl promotes a more inclusive and empowering perspective on sexual health. Its goal is to provide women with a safe, discreet, and supportive tool that fosters autonomy, confidence, and a deeper connection to their own well-being.
