The Master in Business Administration curriculum includes an international Study Tour for second-year students, in which they can explore entrepreneurship and innovation in a practical way, dealing with the local company with which they are involved. The aim is to deal with a highly innovative context, while developing problem solving and teamwork skills.
In 2022, thanks to a long-standing collaboration with the University of Deusto (Deusto Business School - DBS), the students of the Master in Business Administration were able to leave for Bilbao, in the north of Spain, where they carried out their Study Tour. Here they were able to experience the Basque Country at first hand and discover a company that lives innovation at 360°. Over the course of four days, the group was able to get to know the main features of the Basque innovation ecosystem and the key elements of the social and urban modernisation of the Bilbao Metropolis, experiencing at first-hand what has been defined by the European Commission as the Spanish region with the highest rate of innovation.
The educational activities carried out alternated between classroom lectures and guided tours, offering an insight into innovation from different perspectives and in different sectors, ranging from culture to the automotive industry, from winemaking to aeronautical mechanical production.
Thanks to the partnership signed with the Deusto Business School, the students were also recognised for their training hours at the Spanish university's Continuing Education, receiving a certificate of attendance with the prestigious AACSB - Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business - accreditation.
