Educational project
Synthetic aperture radar
SUPSI Image Focus
The project, which was also attended by an MSE student in Electrical Engineering as part of his thesis work, led to the development of landslide monitoring device based on a synthetic aperture radar.
In particular, the student was able to investigate various hardware aspects of a microwave radar device, and built an electronic switching module for the various antennas that make up the system.
In particular, the student was able to investigate various hardware aspects of a microwave radar device, and built an electronic switching module for the various antennas that make up the system.
The student had the opportunity to make an essential component of the whole system and to test and verify its features in practice.
Through this project he was able to deepen his skills in the fields of:
radio frequency and microwave electronics;
