After studying political science at the University of Zurich, he carried out research work at the Statistical Office and at the University of Lausanne. He is currently a senior lecturer and researcher at the Department of Education and Learning (DFA/ASP) at SUPSI. His work focuses on education for democracy, participation, digital citizenship, and the monitoring of educational systems.
