Data attacks and breaches pose a growing threat, even in the banking sector. This short training session aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the reporting obligations to the competent authorities that may arise for banks affected by such attacks or breaches. These obligations will be presented first individually and then from a coordination perspective, concluding with a brief analysis of the information flows between the authorities receiving the notifications. A clear and accurate understanding of these obligations, which add a further layer of complexity to already delicate (and often hectic) contexts, is crucial for managing situations that require precision and timely intervention.
